He rejected a one year contract from the 49ers. He thought that he was worth more than they were offering so he tested the waters. When he couldn't get a better offer, he went back to the 49ers and found that his services were no longer needed. So let's stop all the bullshit about him sacrificing his career for "the cause." He gambled and lost and is now trying to conflate his lack of marketable skills with his protest. Alas poor KAPUITNIK, I knew him, Horatio. |
