As management likely sees it, shit like that causes advertisers to recoil. Her tweet was uncalled for and unprovoked. It surely wasn't funny in the least. I can see why they wanted to ensure this stopped lest it continue and splash further up the corporate chain. The network and its owners saw that they had more to lose than anything such a tone deaf bolt out of the freakin blue could ever deliver.Given that the trumpers re a clear MINORITY of Americans, they knew where this would was headed. That's why there was such swift action. |
