No attorney let's a client run up a fee that large w/o payment.I'm not convinced. Some of his attorneys may have thought the notoriety was worth it, and/or if things had turned out differently Zimmerman could have won a civil suit where they could have gotten paid. It's just one step further than taking a very chancy civil suit on a contingency basis. |
