Well, when a state signs up to the US Constitution, it agrees to be bound by the articles with respect to the enumerated powers of the federal government, those being the "uniform rule of naturalization" and defense of borders. Fighting against such rules in the Constitution means levying war against the USA, and that actually goes under Article 3 Section 3 (treason). |
