It's been ten years since the Sopranos left the TV screen. If a prequel was to be done, it would have to be shortly after the series ended.It's going to be about race, so Hollywood won't miss an opportunity. Blacks vs. Italians. This is how they will be able to use a strong brand name, "The Sopranos" to produce more content that has a race angle. I always thought The Four Seasons got their sounds growing up around blacks in Newark and took it mainstream. The projects in Newark, NYC and Chicago were mostly Italian residents for years until black families moved in. Some say the projects were built to keep Italians out of nice parts of town. |
