Obama received the Nobel for his work addressing nuclear proliferation (he was the first President since the fall of the Soviet Union to negotiate a nuclear arms reduction treaty with Russia), and for his achievements in international diplomacy.

Trump hasn't yet obtained a commitment from Kim to disarm, merely an offer to begin talks. If Trump can work out a verifiable, mutually beneficial disarmament plan, he will likely be awarded his own Nobel Prize.
