My typical observation of the use of radar guns is that you come around a curve or over a hill on the Thruway and there is a police car a hundred yards away with a radar gun. He has no clue if you're speeding or not; he's too far away to judge. He pulls the trigger and if it says 78 or more he waves you over. |
