I have frequently seen a cop in NYC chase after someone who ran a red. I have never in my life seen a cop here give a ticket to someone for stopping ahead of the stop line. Even in well-deserved cases where they completely blocked the crosswalk and made pedestrians walk out into traffic just to cross the street. |
