Because photo-enforcement tickets sit with the registered owner, one can tell the judge his or her spouse (or employee, for a commercial vehicle) was driving, and that the photo was improperly recorded. There have been cases where the camera was found to be out of alignment with the signal phase, which has nothing to do with who was driving. |
