A sitting mayor (Megan Barry, Tenn.) spends $11,000 in taxpayer monies while having an affair with her bodyguard. She pays the monies back, and is charged with felony theft and forced to resign.A sitting governor (Mark Sanford, S.C.) spends $12,000 in taxpayer monies to see his Argentine mistress; not only does he continue to hold office, he pays the monies back and is not charged. Ok then. |
