Of course this is representative of everyone who is even the slightest bit liberal, right?This has been going on for more than 40 years. Back in the 1970s a friend of mine went on a group hiking trip, and one of the guys on the trip was proud of one of his major accomplishments as an employee of a particular state (I think it was Wisconsin). He got the name of the position "Ombudsman" changed to "People's Ombudsrepresentative." And then there is PETA, who doesn't like the name Fishkill (not sure how they feel about Catskill). |
