A $1000 bonus is roughly $.50 an hour over 1 year. Your 2% figure means you’re talking about 50,000 a year salary or roughly 25 bucks an hour. If somebody gave me $1000 I wouldn’t call it crumbs. But I would also know that it’s not the same as giving me a raise so in the long term it is kind of chump change. That and you watched Wall Street cough once they started seeing workers getting some money. |
