You lost distant relatives in the holocaust, being that your grandparents were within the safety of the United States, having gotten in before the Jew Exclusion Act was passed. I lost close relatives. My father grew up with no grandparents, aunts, uncles or cousins. He had a nuclear family and nothing else. My other grandfather was also the sole survivor of his family.We shouldn't lose the ability to live or visit wherever we want just because the ancestors of Germans tried to destroy us. |
