When Arafat was in charge, he used to stress the fact that Islam recognizes Jesus as a holy prophet and that Jesus is regarded as holy from God in the Koran. Google "Jesus in Islam" and see for yourself. Christmas in Bethlehem was a big deal.Conversely, Arafat would be sure to tell Christians that Judaism completely rejects Jesus from a religious standpoint, not to mention the whole betrayal to the Romans and the crucifixion. |
