Somebody living in Vermont or Nebraska owning a house that’s close to median value won’t really be affected by a $10,000 cap.This is not an unreasonable example for Vermont or Nebraska. And even if their real estate plus income tax is only 8K, they still lose 4K in itemized deductions. |
