Fact is, everyone WILL need healthcare at some point or other in their llives. Only with a universal pool is that possible.Add to that the expense to all for supporting free riders, as you mentioned, and the cost incurred through bankruptcies over medical bills, which will be soon on the rise as people who opt for sham policies get stuck with outrageous bills for unexpected illness or accident. |
