You mention 9/11. At the museum there, they show a montage of media reports reporting on the attacks as they were actually happening. Amongst the clips used, one contains footage of Matt Lauer on the Today Show giving minute by minute reports on those horrible events. He was quite visibly shaken & struggled to keep his composure on live television, working without a net as they say. But he reached back, kept it together like newspeople are supposed to & made for riviting reporting.

My question here is will they take his clip down? I hope they don,t. That day, he did what he was supposed to do. His career is over due to his doing what he was not supposed to do.

Do parts condemn the whole? Does his whole body of work prior to this go down in flames?

History will be the judge I guess.
