Meanwhile, in the AL, potential history, as if the Astros win, they would be the first team in Major League history to play in the World Series from both leagues (In 2005, as an NL team, they lost to the Chicago White Sox). The only other team that could accomplish that is Milwaukee (went to the WS as an AL team in 1982, now in the NL)OTOH if the Yankees win, it would be their 41st appearance in the Fall Classic. |
