Obama pretty much immunized himself from an impeachment resolution by saying the Republicans would try to impeach him if they still had congress in his second term.The GOP was so worried that this accusation would lose them the House that they more or less swore they wouldn't try to impeach. They did keep the House and they didn't try impeachment. Somehow I don't think Green's resolution will help the Democrats and may hurt them. It's one thing to hint at impeachment and another to be made to vote on it. |
