Posted by orange blossom special on Tue Sep 19 11:25:52 2017, in response to BMW Success In South Carolina, posted by Train Dude on Fri Dec 28 01:38:39 2012. "because some said that the people at the South Carolina plant were "under educated" and untrainable."This is a great necro-post. First, because only a dem would think a German car plant isn't almost entirely automated. Secondly, a large Minority city in the south had some complaints about how they only want to put businesses in the up-most worst neighborhoods where people weren't the most educated for such technical and education needed jobs. The argument was shut-down when one of the more racial city counselors said this was a racist thing to even point out. I hear Augusta is trashed for this philosphy as well. |
