Copenhagen is warmer than Albany

In winter only. Albany has higher seasonal variation in temperature.

Have you ever noticed the weather for Ulan Baator? Unbelievable summer to winter variation. That's what happens when you're thousands of miles from any ocean, and especially in the windward direction.
