I don't know where to reply and post. I had trouble coming up with the words, but I just read something updated this week I'll cut and paste here.

This week’s portion has a lot of the allowable things and disallowable things.

‘Tis a shame really, when we don’t focus on the allowable and fixate on the disallowed. That was the original sin of Adam. All the trees’ fruits he was told to enjoy; but one tree he shouldn’t partake of. You know what happened there. Rather than getting busy sampling allowable fruits, Adam got obsessed with the one tree off-limits. Yes, there is imitation bacon bits. But, my friends, why are we obsessed with it. There is a plethora of allowable tastes, textures and things we can eat.
