More details here.Looks like Jane Sanders played fast and loose with the bank about supposed gift pledges to the college, whether out of stupidity or dishonesty is not clear. On the other hand, the college's trustees must have approved her representations, since we're talking more money than the entire assets of the college. Also, the claim that Bernie pushed the bank seems to be exceedingly weak. But Jane will never be able to run for President, that's for sure. |
