I don't know a single American adult that doesn't have ID because you need it for all kinds of things in daily life.Neither do I (any more), but that just shows we both associate with middle class people. I had an elderly neighbor whose wallet (with all his ID) was stolen while he was in the hospital. I helped him get his ID back. It was a very difficult process. He would never have had the physical stamina to do it all on his own. |
