Potter's Field is on Hart Island. They use convict labor. The Hart Island Ferry has to come up from St. George when there are bodies to be buried. I don't know if it makes a stop at Rikers Island to pick up the convicts or not. The dead are delivered to Fordham Street in City Island and taken from there by the ferry over to Hart Island.
