Contributing to your argument could be that with the advances of communication since the time of the Presidency's institution, it is no longer necessary to rely on one person to be able to unilaterally "pull the trigger" for stuff.Regarding judges, is there any viable way to extend their selection to the people (rather than other elected officials), even in a small way? I don't like the idea of just having the people themselves decide by majority or minority whether the judge should get in, but I wonder if the people can still be involved in the process somehow. |
