This is a frightening trend in modern American history. Opposition, even vehement opposition, is expected, but when people form the ideation to "resist" an elected figure and try to put it into practice with fantasies of finding a way ("any means necessary") to remove a sitting president, at some point it countenances insurrection.

The Democrats, in the minority of virtually every institution of government, are trying to think up a plausible way to carry out a bloodless coup d'etat.
