But the kabuki theatre attracts the kind of people that vote for trump-types. All they really end up doing is supressing women and all manner of minorities and setting back scientific progress. That's why China is poised to kill us with low cost solar (face it, we're talking the future here, somehing RWers do not comprehend) and our medical tech is showing signs of falling behind in some areas. This is not only about "bragging rights" but JOBS....the kind that pay mortgages and put kids through college. |
