It's logic/capacity based.Brooklyn bound you will have: On the Queens side: 2 lanes from the BQE and 2 Lanes from the LIE merging on to the bridge. On the Brooklyn Side you have: 3 lanes continuing on the BQE and 1 lane exiting to Meeker Ave. So the Bridge to Brooklyn is going to have 4 lanes. Queens bound you will have: On the Brooklyn Side you have: 3 lanes from the BQE and 2 lanes from the Meeker Ave entrance Ramp merging onto the bridge On the Queens Side you will have: 3 lanes continuing onto the BQE and 2 lanes exiting to the LIE. So the Queensbound span will have 5 lanes. |
