Posted by Mitch45 on Fri Apr 28 13:58:49 2017 The first half of the new Kosciuczko Bridge opened at 11:30 last night and I drove on it today coming back from Brooklyn. The best thing about the new bridge isn't the bridge itself (although it is obviously a vast improvement over the old one) but the approach roads to and from the bridge. They are wider and straighter than the old one ever was and no more climbing that curvy hill. When the second half is finished its going to be really great. |
