Read up on some Irish History, like how the Brits let the Irish starve in the streets during the great famine. They would send whatever crop was harvested in Ireland & sent it back to England. There you will find your "victims". Google "Know Nothing Party" & learn how the oppression & discrimination of the Irish was widespread, not just in the NYC area, but in the rest of the country. Read "Angela's Ashes" or books by T.J English. Much to be learned about the Irish expierence there. |
