That's how millions see it. About three million more then voted for trump. He is in office simply on lucky geography. And that won't last, as even the miners themselves are getting that those jobs aren't coming back. Funny thing is, trump is doing nothing to bring different jobs in (that was Hillary Clinton's position on how to help Appalachia). The demand for coal simply isn't there. Even the Chinese are pulling back from it (witness Beijing’s constant brown sky). |
