The scriptures were not written by "God", but by inspired men. That was the Catholic Church's explination of the Bibles existance as taught by The Sisters of Charity, Halifax At St Sebastian and the Marist Brothers of St Helena HS. That once and for all put to rest in young impressionable minds the thought that a lightning bolt from amid the clouds with a pen attached wrote the Scriptures. |
