But having a seemingly consistant slew of ho-hum movies year in & year out can't help maintain an audience, either on network tv or streamed. Why would anyone want to sit thru a 4+ hour award show showcasing mediocore movies & performances? Last nights best picture clusterfuck was the highlight of evening. That part of the show made the biggest next day headlines, not who won what. Thats got to say something right there. |
