Why would you take out Suffolk, which went for Trump?Because it isn't upstate, as in "all those upstate people lost to NYC's politics". But if it makes you happy, if you add both Suffolk and Staten Island back in, Trump wins 52 percent to 48 percent. If you go a step further an include only the counties that Trump won, Clinton still has 43 percent of the vote. |
