No one said to take them all out. As usual, leftist exaggeration.
But that is EXACTLY what the current system does. It completely devalues where most of the people in the nation are. (along with many other parts of the country.)

And yes, the entire country except for the two coasts would be screwed if not for the proper electoral representative system we have.
BUT THE MAJORITY OF THE COUNTRY IS THOSE TWO COASTS. WHY SHOULD THEY BE SCREWED INSTEAD?
