My friends were the children of Jewish Russians who fled the USSR. Not surprising, since while the USSR was mostly an equal-opportunity religious suppressor, they seemed to particularly have it out for that group.

But, the USSR no longer exists. Russia is just people of a common heritage fighting to survive while surrounded by countries trying to choke the life out of their economy, jihad them, and paint them as global supervillains.
