My bar mitzvah was a few days after the blizzard. My brother and I tried to dig out our driveway so that a few guests who were staying over could park there. There was a huge drift in the driveway and we soon found out that it was at least half frozen, like a snow-covered iceberg. Winters were colder back then. |
