Not correct. There is no evidence that the individual named "Lucy" is the ancestor of all humanity. It may also be that Lucy's specific species is a "dead end," and Homo Sapiens simply has another common ancestor with Australopithecus Afarensis, although more closely related to Homo Sapiens than our other fellow great apes.
