Jews are also hated or feared in societies where the vast majority may never have met or even seen a Jew. Japan, for example. Some African countries where they believe that vaccines are poisons created by Jewish doctors to make them sterile.

Or England where in the Elizabethan Age Shakespeare wrote the Merchant of Venice and Marlowe wrote The Jew of Malta, though Jews were banned in England at the time.
