"I don't think people want a new direction" is not contradicted by "Most voters did not want Trump".Clinton was the candidate most associated with status quo. The statement "I don't think people want a new direction" would be contradicted by "Most voters did not want Clinton". And the statement "Most voters did not want Clinton" is a true statement. So I think it is fair to say that Pelosi's statement is incorrect when looking at vote counts in the General Election. |
