The so-called "closing of the gun show loophole" is really about forcing people to conduct background checks and on their own families and close friends whenever they'd want to sell or gift them a weapon. That is Un-American.I don't oppose requiring such instant checks at actual gunshows or online purchases. As for bulletproof vests, the fundamental constitutional right of self-defense is meaningless without a right to self-preservation. |
