If you insist on calling her Shrillary you have undermined any credibility that you may have. In typical Trump fashion he was good for the first 30-45 minutes and then went off the rails, quickly. If I want suspense I will read a book, not wait to see whether or not you will accept the results of the presidential election. I think each candidate tried to appeal to his/her base, but as the electoral math currently stands, Trump needed to widen his base and I do not think he did. Clinton did dodge the "pay to play" question, but Trump had gaffes of his own besides what I had previously mentioned. Interrupting Clinton to call her a "nasty woman" is not going to win over undecided females. Additionally, his reasons for why he used Chinese steel, which he never rebutted, and his tax breaks amounted to "I took advantage of it because she didn't make it impossible for me to do so." If I represented a criminal defendant and my defense was my client was not guilty because the law did not make it impossible for him to commit the charged crime, I would be laughed out of the courtroom. Clinton was definitely more on offense than in previous debates, which does help combat the "low energy" label Trump has been trying to apply to her. As I said earlier, each candidate kept their base and Trump needed to do more than that.
