Prosecution did not prove their case for the charged crimes beyond a reasonable doubt. I did see commentators who have knowledge of Florida law who have posited that the Prosecutors overcharged Zimmerman knowing that they couldn't prove the charges beyond a reasonable doubt and that there were other charges they could have gone with that would have been easier to prove and would have carried the same sentence. |
