Some have flat profile. They have a 9.5w/60w equivalent/800 lumens on sale for $1.97, which is $5 off the usual price.I would stay away from Cree. They have a vented top, get very hot, and threw out the one I had as I do not like light bulbs that generate a lot of heat. Do not every put them in a glass-enclosed ceiling fixture with no ventilation. I think Quart Haolgen ought to be outlawed for that reason. 12 units of a 16 unit condo building burned down in my complex with 1 fatality due to a Q-H bulb coming in contact with some drapes. |
