Agreed. But thats nothing new. Just about every gin mill in NYC have box pools for at least one NFL game per week at various prices per box. Most of the clientele in those establishments are blue collar working class types where a few bucks invested could amount to a few hundred dollar tax free payoff. Playoff & Super bowl pool boxes are on sale now in some places. For example, K of C halls have box pools with some pools having waiting lists to get in. With some pools, the wait takes years to get a box.
Each pool has various payout scenerios.
I've seen box pools that sell boxes for up to $10 thou a box. Game day...what a great time to pull off a stick up.
Bottom line, billions of $$$ in NFL (illegal) action is bet every season.

I wonder how much $$$ is bet in Las Vagas sports book legal action?
