I worry more about Hillary's bellicosity, frankly.I'm amused by the Democrats 'ginning up the idea that Trump will blow things up*, and their discovery of the joys of Red Baiting. Hillary's campaign manager, Robby Mook, suggesting Trump is a "puppet of the Kremlin." I haven't heard talk like that for decades, and not from Democrats. And therein we have a notable difference between Trump and Hillary that has caused Trump trouble: Trump does his own dirty work. When Hillary wants to put out trash on the other candidate she does it through toadies so she has deniability. As to tariffs, have you dealt with them directly? I have. They are a fiscal and political tool and a not inappropriate response to currency manipulation. *I am reminded of an ad involving a little girl, a daisy, a countdown and a nuclear blast. As someone memorably said "They told me if I voted for Goldwater, we would have have a larger war in Vietnam, and sure enough, I voted for Goldwater and we had a larger war in Vietnam." |
