Ability to negotiate with hostile adversaries (whether Putin or Ryan). Middle of the road foreign policy (neither Cheney nor Sanders) Too liberal for your taste but in combination with a much more conservative Congress will probably get some mildly progressive initiatives to work. Sneaky and underhanded as a person but not really more so than the average politician. (Every president since Carter has been a sneak one way or the other, and look how much you love that non-sneak, Carter.) |
