What scares me (about the American voting public) is that this is all due to two things:

- The Democrats put on a well-produced infomercial, while the Republican version was really tacky.

- Trump demeaned some ordinary citizens in public, as opposed to his usual habit of demeaning politicians in public and ordinary citizens in private.
