Soliciting the help of a foreign power for political gain is acting against the interests of the United States and the Democratic process

So, I assume by this logic that soliciting foreign governments to contribute to a foundation that you run and then make distributions from would also be treason? Especially if those distributions are made for your political (or, personal) gain?
